On April 10, 2004, two climbers became lost and stranded on Mount Hood's notorious
Yocum Ridge. The route, considered one of the most difficult on the mountain, was
more than the climbers could handle and they required assistance getting out of their
predicament. Helicopters could not reach them, so PMR guided them down to safety over
18 long hours.
