As the late evening sun sets on Mount Hood, the two climbers (highlighted
in yellow circle) begin their downclimb from Yocum Ridge. They
started their descent late Saturday evening and reached the PMR rescue
team in the darkness of Sunday morning. From there, PMR assisted the
subjects down over the crevasses of Reid Glacier and back up to more rescuers
waiting at Illumination Saddle.
