PMR Unveils Revamped Community Website
Tuesday, October 1, 2001
Portland Mountain Rescue proudly announces the launch of our revamped
website - pmru.org - as a service to the mountaineering, climbing
and backcountry sports community.
Featuring improved graphics, easier navigation and richer content, the new
site includes the following key elements:
· Detailed information on the PMR
organization
· Press resources on PMR activities
· Safety education information for
the community
· Links to many helpful
mountain-related Internet resources
· Services for PMR members
Some sections are still nearing completion, but they will be coming online
during the Fall. Eventually, PMR hopes to grow the site into one of
the premier Internet resources in the Mountain Rescue community.
