Multnomah Falls Clean-up and Earth Day Celebration
Sunday April 29, 2012

Join PMR and other search and rescue groups at Multnomah Falls on Sunday between 9am and 4pm. We will be demonstrating high angle skills as we access hard to reach areas to help with Earth Day clean-up activities.

Mt. Hood SAR Council will be leading the Clean-up portion of the day, which will entail trash and litter pick-up both on and off trail. This highly skilled group will be using various technical gear to get to the trash in the hard to reach locations. Leave No Trace, the Friends of Multnomah Falls, and the USDA Forest Service are hosting the Earth Day celebration, which will include educational activities, games, and prizes for people of all ages.

Come out and celebrate Earth Day at Multnomah Falls on Sunday April 29th. Participants should plan to arrive in uniform at the visitor center at 7am and the event will start for the public at 9am.
