KOIN News 6 Features Portland Mountain Rescue
Monday & Tuesday Nov 14-15, 2011
KOIN Local 6 teamed up with Portland Mountain Rescue (PMR)
for a two part series that looks at ways to be prepared and take care of yourself during a day hike that unexpectedly
turns into an emergency, like getting lost or hurt.
PMR initiated a mock-mission where Amy Frasier played the role of the injured victim. It served as a training opportunity
for the PMR members in addition to a chance to provide safety tips to the public.
Below you can find the film-clips from each of the film segments that we aired on KOIN 6, as well as two additional clips.
